When I planned my first trip to London, I didn't think I would be impressed with the city. I was expecting to find a busy city lacking culture and flavor. I thought that I would be dealing with stuffy, pompous people around every turn.
Fortunately, I was wrong. What I discovered instead was a diverse, energetic city filled with historical attractions and modern conveniences. London immediately felt like my home away from home. My wife and I live in Portland, Oregon, where we recently relocated to from Los Angeles, California. We have four kids and we enjoy traveling, hiking, trying new restaurants and spending time together.
